Trillium Trail Run Volunteer 2026

Thank you for volunteering for the 2026 Trillium Trail Run! This exciting, community-centered event is a perfect opportunity to get involved, have fun, and support our beautiful island trails.  

Each role comes with specific responsibilities, so be sure to check out the details for meeting times and tasks. Some pre-race volunteer opportunities are May 7-8, while race-day volunteer activites are May 9.

MEDAL ASSEMBLY, COURSE RIBBON CUTTING, T-SHIRT SORTING
Help organize race-day items on May 7 at the Marge Williams Center. Tasks include assembling race medals, cutting course marking ribbon, organizing T-shirts and other materials.

RACE COURSE SET-UP
Join the Bainbridge Ultra Running Team (BURT) as a volunteer to mark and sign the 10K/5K courses before race day. Ensure course markers are placed accurately and visibly to guide runners along the course.

RACE DAY PICNIC SHELTER SETUP
Calling all Early Birds! Looking for volunteers to assist with site setup at Battle Point for the main race area at the Battle Point Picnic Shelter. This may include putting up tables, setting up tents, placing/hanging signage, organizing registration table, make lemonade, or lending a hand to other organizations tabling.

RACE DAY CHECK-IN STATION
Assist at the Race Day Check-in and Packet Pick-up table, and on-site registration for race-day participants. Organize and distribute race packets containing bibs and other important information. Distribute T-shirts to runner that purchased them at registration.

Serve as our Race Day Guide and Information Person. Your role is crucial in providing assistance and information to participants and spectators during our Trillium Trail Run event. Greet attendees and answer questions about race-day events, schedules, locations, directions.

WATER STATION ATTENDANTS
Water Station is located at Hilltop to ensure runners stay hydrated. Pick up Igloo coolers and cups from Battle Point Pavilion, fill and transport to Hill Top. Help set up the water table and garbage by the kiosk outside Prue's House (you can park at Prue's House). Get table from inside Prue's house and garbage can. Set out and fill water cups and distribute to passing runners. At the end of race put tables away and bring Igloo coolers, cups and garbage bag back to Battle Point Pavilion.

Join our Post-Run Food and Beverage Volunteer Team at the Trillium Start/Finish area. Set-up post-race snacks and refreshments, and Fun Run cookies for kid participants, and post-race cleanup.
