Join us for a special program with author and birder Mark Salvadalena, a local birding expert and author of Birding Bainbridge Island.

Mark, a lifelong birdwatcher, has been leading bird walks and classes for the parks department and IslandWood for the past decade. He created Birding Bainbridge Island to offer an accessible guide for those curious about the birds around them. Mark will share his knowledge of local birds and great parks for seeing them on Bainbridge Island. He hopes his talk will inspire us to see birding not just as a hobby, but as a meditative practice and a way to stay connected to the seasons.

All participants will receive a signed copy of Mark's new book "Birding Bainbridge" (one copy per couple).
