PRITCHARD PARK MEMORIAL BENCH SHELTER WALK – Our parks and trails offer space for solace in times of grief, and this walk will explore elements of Pritchard Park that create a place of healing. The park’s new memorial bench shelter honors children lost prematurely, and is one the island’s most unique and beautiful park amenities. A gift to the Parks & Trails Foundation made the bench shelter possible, with skilled craftsmanship by the Park District team and inspiring views of Puget Sound and Seattle.
