MORE THAN A TRAIL, IT’S A ‘LINEAR PARK.’
The Sound To Olympics (STO) Winslow Connector greets visitors at the Winslow Ferry Terminal, the first stretch of the STO Corridor envisioned to stretch across the island and the Kitsap Peninsula.
The trail currently runs 1.1 miles north of the High School Road intersection, and the next segment is being planned for the west side of the highway north of High School Road. STO users will soon be able to reach Sakai Park and beyond.
The Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation is an active partner with the City of Bainbridge in the planning and stewardship of the STO, fast becoming Bainbridge Island’s first “linear park.”
